After graduation in 2015 he joined a multi-national engineering consultancy based in Oxford where he remained until returning to the North East in late 2019. Andy joins Jasper Kerr as a Civil Engineer.
With a good level of experience across flood risk, drainage and highways design, Andy has been heavily involved in wide ranging projects across all sectors. His experience includes, among other things, the civil infrastructure planning of Cotswold Garden Village; the design and delivery of the primary civil infrastructure at Barton Park, Oxford; civil engineering design for multiple Oxford University schemes, including the new Physics Building; drainage and highway design for the Oxford City Council Recycling Transfer Station; flood risk and drainage design for the Oxford Artisan Distillery and more locally, the design of the City Way highway dualling scheme in Sunderland.
Andy is well versed in civil infrastructure pre-planning, planning and delivery across all sectors and has had involvement in Smart City initiatives and successful STEM programmes; including involvement in a feature in the Times Educational Supplement whilst working with Activate Learning at the City of Oxford Technology College.
Outside of work, Andy enjoys the occasional game of 5-aside and is keen supporter of Newcastle United; although this can be a difficult past-time.
